Digital Skillet Workshop Terms and Conditions
Participation in the Digital Skills Bootcamp provided by Digital Skillet Training ("DST", operated by IPSAR Holdings Inc.) requires those registered for the workshop (the "participants") and, if applicable, the party sponsoring the participant's registration (and/or employer) to accept the following Terms and Conditions. Participation in this workshop does not require the participant to use any hardware or software to achieve learning outcomes – participants can follow along with presented material and observe case studies without actively using computing resources or tools. However, if participants choose to work on case studies and examples presented, they acknowledge that they have the permission of the owners (whether employers, or otherwise) of the hardware, software and other resources they are using to use such resources during the workshop.
Examples, demonstrations and case studies involving software are not an endorsement of any software product by DST as suitable or preferential for any given purpose or application.
Participants acknowledge and understand that concepts, examples and case studies presented are for educational use only and are not intended to be considered as advice for any particular application or situation.
Participants acknowledge that they are familiar with and understand any policies their employers may have that could impact their participation in this workshop or the use of any concepts presented during the workshop, including but not limited to pertinent IT, data governance, privacy or cybersecurity policies and practices.
Participants will not use confidential or proprietary data of any kind during the workshop, with the exception of sample data and materials provided by DST. Sample data, presentation materials and templates, including digital files, are the property of DST and permission is provided to the participant to use these materials for educational purposes only. Provided materials are not guaranteed to be free of errors or defects and participants use them at their own risk. Distribution of materials to other 3rd parties (including storage on networked drives) is prohibited.
Changes / Cancellations: Registrations can be transferred to a different attendee by emailing DST with the transfer request and the name of the new attendee with an acknowledgment that the new attendee has accepted the terms and conditions. Participants cannot cancel registrations, but registrations may be rescheduled to a different workshop date on written request at the sole discretion of DST. In the event that DST cannot provide the workshop for any reason and must cancel the event, DST will refund registration fees, but will not be responsible for any costs incurred by participants, their sponsors, or employers related to their intended participation in the workshop including, but not limited to, travel, accommodation, lost time or facility costs.
Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability: Participants assume all responsibility and risk with respect to use of results, conclusions and recommendations provided by Digital Skillet Training, which is provided "as is" without warranties, representations or conditions of any kind, either express or implied, including without limitation, all content and materials, digital products and files, and functions and consulting services provided, all of which are provided without warranty of any kind, including but not limited to warranties concerning the availability, accuracy, completeness or usefulness of content or information, uninterrupted access, and any warranties of title, non infringement, merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. In no event will Digital Skillet Training, or its affiliates, or any of its directors, officers, agents, contractors, suppliers or employees be liable for any direct, indirect, special, incidental, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, losses or causes of action, or lost revenue, lost profits, lost business or sales, or any other type of damage, whether based in contract or tort (including negligence), strict liability or otherwise, arising from your use of, or the inability to use, or the performance of any product or service provided by Digital Skillet Training.
